Internship Program for Students
In August 2024, we launched an internship program for students from Menoufia and Cairo universities. This two-week program, which has been running successfully for the past four years, welcomes students in their second and third years as well as fresh graduates. The program is designed to be a balanced mix of technical training and soft skills development, including communication, interpersonal skills, leadership, and presentation skills. Our goal is to prepare students for the labor market, equipping them with the necessary tools to succeed in their future careers.
Glass Donations to Mosques
Recognizing our role in supporting local communities, we have donated glass to mosques in Menoufia Governorate and Sadat City. We see it as our responsibility to lend a hand to schools and mosques when they are in need. This initiative reflects our continued commitment to the communities we serve.
Supporting Kiosks for Those in Need
One of our significant initiatives is donating kiosks in the Menoufia Governorate. Understanding the challenges faced by those with financial difficulties, we offer support by constructing and stocking kiosks with groceries or other essential items to help individuals generate income. In collaboration with the Al Orman Charitable Foundation, this program seeks to empower people to achieve self-sufficiency and enhance their quality of life.
Donations to Al Shifaa Hospital
We have made significant contributions to Al Shifaa Hospital in Upper Egypt, particularly in operation rooms, one dedicated to cancer patients and another to kidney dialysis units. These donations are crucial in supporting the hospital’s efforts to provide essential medical care to those in need. Our contributions to the kidney dialysis units are especially vital, given the increasing demand for such facilities.
Blood Center Support
Our donations to the blood center at Al Shifaa Hospital have been instrumental in supporting patients with blood diseases. The positive feedback we’ve received underscores the importance of this contribution and the impact it has on the lives of many individuals requiring blood-related treatments
Aid to Gaza
In response to the ongoing crisis in Gaza, we have donated food supplies and blankets to support the people during the siege and war. This initiative demonstrates our solidarity and commitment to helping our brothers and sisters in Gaza, providing much-needed relief during difficult times.
Participation in the Charitable Investment Fund Conference
On June 10, 2024, Sphinx Glass took part in the charitable investment fund conference organized by the Al Orman Charitable Foundation. Our CEO, Eng. Mohammed Khattab, represented us at this significant event, which focused on establishing an investment fund to effectively channel donations in support of hospitals, the Red Crescent, and other charitable activities.
